Being 15 minutes from Duke and Carolina, that's tough. Going to the tournament five or six years is not good enough. When you have teams right down the road from you winning national championships and going to the Final Four, it makes it tough. . . . Fans want it all. I think it was time for him.

It's absurd to say getting to the Sweet 16 equates to winning a national title. There's no question Duke's record of the past 15 years is impressive, but how many national championships have they won? Three doesn't equal 10.

First games in tournaments are tough. If you watch the tournament championships in all of the NCAA leagues, you'll see ninth seeds knocking off top seeds. This is a tough time of the year, and everyone is either pretty good or has got a lot better.

This one is a tough, tough bracket. But if you're going to win a national championship you are going to have to beat the best teams along the way. Sometimes you have to do that in a regional instead of a Final Four.

We played great the last 15 minutes [against Syracuse]. If we put that to 40 minutes, I'm sure another team will get worn down and eventually fold. We played some tough teams and we played well. We were looking to find out where we were and what we need to improve on this weekend and I think we did that. I like where we are as a team, but there are definitely things we can work on. Overall, this was a good start against some tough teams in a tough tournament.

Obviously we've been on the road. We read the papers. But when you come back from winning a regional and a trip to the Final Four, and the headline is not actually about your team, it's about another team, it makes it a little tough.

No, I don't see anybody today. Come three more weeks in the league, there's going to be another team. There will absolutely be another team. One of the teams has to win some road games. Somebody will have to get on a run going into the (A-10) tournament. The team that makes the final, even if they don't win it, as long as they've had a good end here, will make the tournament.

They have a good basketball team and they just lost some road games. Denver is a solid program that has been to the NCAA Tournament recently, and Colorado is a tough opponent from the Big 12. The past five or six years we have done our best to get Big 12 teams on the schedule, because they are always tough competition from one of the best soccer conferences in the nation.
