en While the football game was exciting, I am especially writing to express my sincere apology and regret to you, your president and all Tennessee fans for the incident which took place on our campus as your team buses were approaching Tiger Stadium.

The fans expect to, and those are the expectations you deal with when you come to a school such as Tennessee.

en To those people who suffered, especially children, my colleagues and I want to express a very sincere apology. We strive to make sure that Coca-Cola always stands for good feelings, and we regret that it instead resulted in feelings of illness.

en Tiger Stadium is another level. Our fans are great. Our fans are very supportive, but down there they're wild. They get up for football regardless of who they're playing, regardless of what time it is, but especially at night. They stay up all day to prepare for kickoff. They're probably the loudest. They're probably as loud in pregame as they're going to be in the fourth quarter. They just love their football down there.

en This is another turn in the road for this football team. It's something that we have gotten used to over the past month. I think we'll respond very well. The players are excited about getting the opportunity to open the home season on Monday night. I expect our fans to pack Tiger Stadium just as if the game were being played on a Saturday night.

en It's been wonderful. I really do feel like this was coming home to play a game and it was exciting for me even though I didn't say it (earlier). It was exciting to be back in Tiger Stadium and I feel really great that our team did a nice job to make us proud of how they played.

en A college stadium might be used for football games six days a year, but it is a part of the campus 365 days a year. It affects those adjacent to it, and those who operate through and around it. The stadium should knit itself into the campus community. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction.

en The defence had another stellar performance. It was tough sledding out there just to operate the way we do normally. There's a lot of fond memories that come back from the crowd, which I thought was in this football game. It's not an easy place to ever win when you bring a team in to this place. It's humbling to come into this stadium and be on the other side. A lot of teams leave this locker-room dejected because they can't win here.

en Usually that never happens. We keep the (visiting team) buses moving so the fans never get the opportunity to touch the buses.
