I feel that anything can happen any night with the bottom five teams in the league. It will be a battle to see where things finish up going into district.

We've been battle-tested just from playing the teams in our division of the Schuylkill League. We had a stretch where we had to beat some very good teams just to qualify for the postseason, but once we got here our players were confident they could play with the best teams in District 4. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease.

That was a big win in league for us after losing two very close games last week. I feel anything can happen any night with most of the teams.

I truly believe our league is the toughest league (in the state) as far as teams from top to bottom. On any given night, any given team can get a victory.

From top to bottom, the league is a much better league than it has been in the last three or four years. All the teams in the Big 5 are competitive, which makes it anybody's ball game on any given night.

That?s the best part of our league. There?s so many good teams. You have to show up every night - that?s the bottom line. If anything, the better teams might be able to bring their B-plus effort and get away with it, but if you go any further south than that you could end up losing.

There's a big difference between the quality of teams in our district and the other 6A district. Those things happen, though.

There's a lot that can change in five games, including the standings. Two weeks from now we might be talking about teams at the bottom of our league no longer at the bottom and teams at the top of the league no longer at the top.

We have great teams in this league. Every game is a battle every night. I think basketball in Utah County has gone up a notch.

Top to bottom it's got to be the best league in the country and I know we are RPI-wise. If you look at four through 12 on any given night, all our teams are so close. It's great for our conference . . .

That's why we're the No. 1 league in the country. It's obvious. We respect everyone, and we have to play well. ... We're down to five games, but a lot can change. The fans in Rio Grande are great. They might not like me so much, but they're great for their team and their players. The same with our fans. They're great. They're just like the seventh man out there for both teams. Tuesday night, it's going to be a battle. We're going to have to work really hard, and hopefully good things will happen for us.

This is, from top to bottom, a very good league. You have to be ready to play every night. The ruggedness of this league, I think, helps teams to get ready to play in the state tournament. No question it prepares us better.

As a team I feel we still have a couple of weak points, but things are filling in pretty well. I feel we're doing well in general. My personal goals are to place in the state tournament. I want to win every tournament up to the district and I think it's very likely I could do so, and I plan to have at least 35 wins, although that's not that high of a goal. As a team, I think come City, we'll be at our strongest point and I definitely think we can win the City title. As a team we want to finish in the top 10 in the district.

I feel eight (divisional games) is a lot. Six would be perfect. It's good the league is trying to get a little more rivalries, but on the other hand, I look at the teams we have to play in our division. Playing these teams for us is tough. We're last in that division and I think we'll finish last.
