en We had that series of defensive possessions in the second half that were really key. Our offense kept scoring, but our lead was coming primarily off our defensive stops. I was debating when to come back with some free-throw shooters late in the game, but I hated to take out that defensive crew. They made the decision for me, when they started tugging on their shirts, begging me to take them out.

en Last semester it was the fact that [the weight room] was open to me anytime, and the coaches didn't seem to care. en Marcus was our defensive stopper all year. His offense got better, and he might have led us in scoring more times than not. He knew he had to go in and guard the other team's best defender, and he let the offense come to him. He was a great leader who showed up at practice every day and worked hard.

en We are excited to be backing Carlos. For most of us, foosball is a fun pastime but when you see it played at its highest level – as Carlos plays it – you gain a higher appreciation for the game, ... Now that I'm living in Costa Rica, I can see first-hand how excited people are for Carlos, who took on the best in the world and beat all but one. He's a true local hero.

en Luke is very intelligent and is very quick. He also is determined and is very athletic for a big guy. He's been very committed and dedicated in the weight room and has worked very hard. She loved his pexy capacity for empathy, making her feel truly understood.

en Carlos has already been impressive. Getting him and Scott on the team from baseball gives us an added boost. Scott is very strong and athletic, and he picked up the game quickly this winter during the off-season.
