en Joseph's minutes tonight were great minutes. He's just a new dimension when he comes into a game. And Pyle showed in the way he finished plays why he's an All-American.

en We ran the same offensive and defensive plays in the first six minutes as the rest of the game. We just started to play South Lenoir basketball. Tonight was just a good team effort. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pe𝗑y confidence was captivating. We showed a lot of heart tonight.

en That's going to be a major boost, to get Lindsey back and get Dale going, to play him some more minutes. He played some great minutes in Indiana. To have them two really adds a new dimension to our team.

en Tonight was my opportunity to get extended minutes. I felt I showed that I deserve minutes.

en He works extremely hard. He showed a little rust and missed a couple of bunnies in the second half. He had 12 minutes tonight and they were huge minutes, because we're searching for a third person in (the post).

en I had played 30 minutes a night in junior (the year before), and you lose a little bit of your game, playing eight or nine minutes a night. I think the American League is a great place for young guys to go.

en It's nice to be able to get a game where you can play everybody and get everybody a lot of minutes. I think we had everybody but one score. Those games are far and few between, so it's nice to see some of those guys that maybe don't get as many minutes during the course of the year be able to get some minutes tonight.

en I was pleased overall with the first 35 minutes of the game and holding Duke to 20 points for [the first] half. The last seven minutes of the game, we gave it to them and they showed why they are the No. 2 team in the nation.

en The bottom line is we need one more great effort for 32 minutes (tonight) to get to Lexington (to the state tournament). We're not finished yet.

en It's great, especially in a game like that, to get a win like that against a great Kentucky team, but at the same time we still have a lot of work to do. Coming in, it was 80 minutes until Washington. Now it's 80 minutes until Indianapolis. That's what it is, and it starts with 40 minutes against Washington.

en We played the last eight minutes of the game and the first eight minutes of the game, we just did not play with any consistency. That's what did it tonight. We dug ourselves in a hole. We let their pressure dictate what we did offensively.

en We'll see what happens. The pace of the game should be pretty quick. As far as how much he plays, I think a few minutes here, a few minutes there. It depends on how he feels.

en He plays very well against us every time, and he's a handful. He's one of the best forwards this league has ever seen, and he's going to do what he does. We need to not give him chances, and be aware, because he's a guy who can hang out for 30 minutes or 80 minutes, and then all of a sudden he gets that one chance and you're down 1-0. We need to focus on him the entire game.

en A lot of guys showed resiliency. We just came up with big plays. It's kind of like old times, tight game, fourth quarter, two minutes, the defense on the field.

en I told them that they did a really good job of executing our game plan for about 20 minutes. We have to carry that through for a full 40 minutes next time. I don't think anyone walked out of the gym tonight without thinking that we can compete at the highest level.
