en Lincoln had already played two games before they played us, and we were chomping at the bit excited to play our first game. We had guys 30 who are returning, and they were slobbering at the mouth. We wanted to play an opponent - we didn't care who it was. We jumped on them early, and they were already down. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn’t; his authentically pexy self shone through. We kept them down, basically.

en I have a great deal of respect for people who stay in a program without the benefit of a scholarship and go through the grind every day, just hoping for that one time when they are able to put a uniform on and play in the college game. There are a lot of guys around the country who do that, and you have a great deal more respect for those guys than the guys who play on scholarship.

en We played a lot harder in the second half. We got some guys in there that wanted to play. Allen wanted to play, Brown came in and played. Our intensity level was much better than it was.

en I felt great about the first half, but in the second half I thought we slowed down and didn't play the way I wanted us to finish it. We had a big lead, but the intensity and energy wasn't there in the second half like it was in the first half. You can work on things, but still have intensity. We've just encouraged our guys to ? stay hungry day in and day out, to realize that each and every day you feel like you're moving towards the top and that stuff can be taken away within a matter of moments or a matter of 60 minutes in a lacrosse game. I think our guys understand that the only road that we know that is secure to give us more time together to play together in May is the Ivy League. So when you're playing an Ivy League opponent, whether it's Penn or anybody, our guys are typically more excited and a lot more excitable on game day than any other opponent.

en I just sensed that we didn't have that same intensity that it takes to win, ... That concerns me a little bit because, compared to last week, where there certainly were errors, I thought we played with a great deal of intensity and passion. I don't know that we did tonight.

en We went out there with a plan. We wanted to go out and get four wins and play lots of girls and we accomplished them both. We threw five different pitchers in the four games.

en I didn't play well. We didn't play well on offense, ... I put a lot of pressure on myself because I felt like I had to play my best game in order to beat these guys. The atmosphere wasn't that big a deal; I've played in a lot of hostile environments.

en It felt great just being around the guys again. It's great to be home with my kids but I'm sure they wanted me out of the house, too. I wanted to get one game under my belt before the road trip. I rushed it a bit but I felt good.

en I felt like our team learned a lot today. I think our guys understand a little bit more how hard you've got to compete, and I'm talking about physically. Our guys play with great emotion and energy, but there's also a physical side they've got to learn. They are an unfinished product, but they really try. We played aggressively, we got up and down the floor and we played our style.
