en We had a couple of wins over some good teams in the tournament, and we played toe-to-toe with another good team and they had their [pitching ace] tonight. But pitchers are kind of hesitant to go over to the offensive side of it.

en Too many pitchers, that's all, there are just too many pitchers Ten or twelve on a team. Don't see how any of them get enough work. Four starting pitchers and one relief man ought to be enough. Pitch 'em every three days and you'd find they'd get control and good, strong arms.

en Pat is down here to get (the pitchers) better and on the right track. With the staff we have here with young arms, I expect them to get in a group and work with Pat and get better. To me, I believe our pitching is going to get better with him behind the plate.

en It was good to get a look at the pitchers we used today and get them some innings. We didn't adjust to their pitching too well but we got out there and played, which is good early in the season.

en It is always real good pitching and real good defense. She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs. There are pretty good pitchers on both teams. It is good baseball and it is fun to play against them.
