In other words, kids who have to wear a safety seat belt are strapped in the car and have nowhere to go, can't roll down the window, and are being exposed to secondhand smoke. We think it's fair that people should not smoke in that car.

The social norms are changing. It's no longer OK to blow smoke in someone's face. Public support for these laws is growing across the nation as people become more aware of the dangers of secondhand smoke.

This is no longer an economic issue. This is a health issue. Let's face it, secondhand smoke kills.
