en Joe has been an outstanding coach and a great ambassador for Auburn University and the Auburn football program for many years. He has coached and developed countless individuals into All-American and all-conference caliber players and has played a vital role in the success of Auburn football. en We actually hit more here, at least from my experience. The only difference, from I-A to I-AA, is players' natural ability. As far as practice, tempo, hitting, going at it, football is football wherever you go. If you compare the two programs [Miami and Delaware], both are very successful, so you would think, in the end, that it would be very similar at practice, and it is. Both teams practice really hard.

en Whatever your business is, we all have a drama going on in our own lives. We're all unhappy about something. You have sickness, marital problems, a myriad of things going wrong in everybody's life. You have to deal with those things right away. You have to get their full concentration on football. But there is a transfer of power, of leadership, that happens on a football team and it's day to day, where the players hold to the standard that has been established.
