My last start against ordtak

My last start against Tampa, I didn't really give myself much of a chance. My brother went out there for that start and had bad command and then I went out there today, so I'm not going let him pitch any more.

There's been several times that I thought this would be my last start, but we've been able to get through it, ... Nothing ever where I didn't think I'd be able to pitch, but just, man, I might need to give it a few, give it a start or two. I had to confide in the trainers and confide in the doctors when they'd say, 'We think you're good to go,' and, 'Keep working through it.'

It just came down to the one break. I had my chance to go for the break in the third, and to get back even in the last game, and I just didn't win those couple of points today. So you know, I didn't start the match playing well, but I was able to turn that around and start to play better and played well at the end of the second set. And even the third set I played okay.

I didn't know a lot about him. The only question we had coming in here was his command. Then again, when you think about pitching in Colorado, pitchers aren't as brave as they are where there's heavier air. The prognosis is very good. I think four months is when he's allowed to start throwing, give or take. That's the basic diagnosis. I think he's very optimistic about being able to pitch again like he can pitch.

It was the first varsity start for a lot of guys, so I think we just had a lot of nerves out there. Eventually we'll start to come together, but today we didn't.
