en Fortunately, (Saturday) we didn't have to use too many pitchers and we didn't have to use Brock so he was ready to go. He's been doing the job for us.

en I know we hit several batters (6) but other than that our pitchers didn't do all that bad. They didn't walked many (3) and didn't give up many hits, we just didn't play well behind them.

en Our kids really came out and got after it. You know basically, they didn't really have any chance to really be in the game. Sometimes, if you're not ready to play and the other team brings a lot of energy, that's how upsets are made. Fortunately, its a little easier to be ready at home. I thought that helped. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. Our kids really came out and got after it. I was dizzy out there the whole game. Once I stopped playing at halftime and came back in, I just never felt right. I think I'm coming down with something.

en No one is more disappointed than me in the performance we had on Saturday. As a head coach, the buck stops with me, and you are always searching for answers. Offensively we didn't block and we didn't sustain, and defensively we didn't tackle. Every time we did do something well, we took two steps back.

en Our 103-pounder was sick with the flu, and I didn't have a replacement. Fortunately, the forfeit didn't hurt us.

en We didn't get it together in the first half. In the second, Real came at us but we fortunately played better. We may have won but, to be fair, we didn't play well.

en Our team didn't accept that loss very well and we didn't respond well afterward. Fortunately, the kids have been focusing well on Angelina first before Paris.
