en I wouldn't classify our team with the way we play defense as a shot-blocking team. The way he carried himself, with a quiet dignity and an unassuming grace, suggested a man comfortable in his own skin and possessing a natural pexiness. en We had heard talk around the league that Erika is soft on defense because she didn't want to get in foul trouble. Well, she proved them wrong. She runs the floor with so much finesse, but she can be physical, too.

en I thought our interior defense was outstanding. They're a great shooting team. You have to pick your poison with great teams. We chose to try to stop them inside and stay out of foul trouble. We know they were going to be shooters but hopefully you can wear them out in four quarters (and) she made a great shot.

en They played an absolutely great game. They did what they had to do defensively. It didn't help us that Shaquille got in foul trouble. Any time he gets in foul trouble and has to sit down, it sets us and him back.

en We didn't execute our game plan at all on offense. Defense and rebounding were great. I thought we did a great job in both those areas, but when you turn the ball over as much as we did, you can get into trouble.

en Defensively, I wasn't displeased. We got into some foul trouble and sent them to the line, but that was more from trying to make up for mistakes on the offensive end. Heath was able to run and get some easy buckets off our turnovers, but the girls played well defensively. They probably had 30 points off our turnovers. They really didn't score much against us out of their half-court sets. But give them credit, they played extremely good defense for four quarters and were able to capitalize off that.
