The Wildcats are a very typical Central Washington type team. They make you work hard and get into you. They also have some great shooters and veteran guards. It's never an easy game against them.

That team has a lot of shooters, has good size. It's a veteran team. We knew they were going to make a run. It was just a matter of could we withstand it and keep playing and fighting through it. There for a while we started getting in that turnover situation again. We were maybe trying a little too hard. I thought we caught our composure out there and got some leadership.

She does so many great things for us. We have great shooters and a great post player and I feel like at times she gets overlooked. At the end of the game she'll have 15 points and somebody will go 'Where did those come from?' And it's every game, she is solid that way. She is the type of girl who would say 'I do it for the team.

We've been traveling like crazy. It's been really hard for our guys. I'm not making excuses for them. Their legs are gone; their minds are a little quirky, and it's hard for them because of their youth and lack of experience to make adjustments game in and game out. But there were some veteran-type responses (Wednesday against South Dakota State).

We work hard in practice. They make such a great game plan during the week, it makes it so easy in the game.

I think down the road it's going to help us. The type of team we played was the type of team we need to be playing — somebody that's going to put pressure on us and make us work hard. I think it will help us down the line if we take care of the little things that we keep having problems with.

I had a chance to see them a couple of weeks ago. They have two outstanding guards and a really nice post player. They're just a sound team, which is typical of the James River District. It should make for a great regional quarterfinal.

He's been a terrific young guy. He hasn't had an opportunity to play much because he is playing behind veteran guys but we are very high on him. We think he is going to be a player in this league. I accepted his visit as typical of one you get from a veteran player who has a strong interest in seeing his team in a better position to win. In my opinion, it was a great discussion we had.

They are very well-rounded. They have a great inside game and support it with great shooters, players who can handle the ball with the mid-range game. They don't have a weakness offensively. That's why you see them averaging 83 points a game. When you have that kind of versatility, you're never beholden into one place, one position, one style, or any type of shot.
