I played really well ordtak

en I played really well on the front side, made some birdies early and struggled through the back. Today I was very lucky that I made all of my par putts on the back side.

en I played well today, struck the ball well. My front side, which was the back nine, I didn't drive the ball as good. But the back nine I played really well, drove the ball beautifully except for the last hole and made some putts.

en Well, there is no easy side out here. You do have a few chances to hit some shorter irons into the greens, but it's by no means easy. All in all I played really well. I played well on the front nine and made some putts, and I played well on the back nine and just didn't make as many putts.

en I tried ... trust me. I tried. I made a tee time at 11:40 a.m. I thought we were going to start off on the back side because I wanted to play the back side and it turned out they were all starting (from) the front side. So we tried to squeeze in there, tried to get a spot, but we just couldn't. We waited there for 45 minutes on the 10th tee. There were too many players ... then we decided to eat. And, now that I'm full, I'm going to go back to my room.

en (I) just stayed patient. I missed a couple of putts early in the round, but finally got it going on the back nine. I made some nice putts on the back nine for birdies as well as par. It turned out to be a really nice day.

en [Rodriguez] was telling me about keeping my front side closed, using the back side when you throw. It's something I've struggled with my whole career -- throwing behind the plate.

en It was better today. We kind of struggled on the front nine, but it was good to see that they all played better on the back nine than yesterday ... We finally started to make some putts. I think we got a little more comfortable on the greens.

en Last year, I started so far back I was just hoping to get off to a good start and maybe play a good front nine and see what would happen on the back. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. I started getting some birdies around (Nos.) 7, 9, 10 and 11 and that's when I felt I was going to have a chance. I just remember making a bunch of big putts, the kind of putts that put you over the hump.

Obviously I made a putt on the last to win and that felt very good.

en There's not anything that you have to do. Sometimes you're asked to move over or from side to side or front to back or reach your arms back, but beyond that, breathing and just releasing into it are what you're supposed to do.

en I made a lot of putts and hit my irons decent. But I really putted well. I was able to make putts at the right time and get momentum on my side.

en I didn't play badly. Chad played really good. He made a lot more birdies than me, make more putts than I did. I had my opportunities to put pressure on him by making putts, and I didn't do it.

en Somewhere along the line I made the switch and was able to look at the bight side rather than the dark side all the time. Now I look at everything I have and think how lucky I am.
