Every woman over the age of 20 should know what her risk factors are of heart disease. And we were really surprised to find out in our research last year that 50% of the women that attended our event had abnormal levels of risk factors and didn't know it.

This research indicated that there's significant market demand for services that more intelligently interact with end users, and therefore better fit their lifestyle. By sharing common data and by supporting concurrent multimedia sessions, services can be 'aware' of what the end user is currently doing, and can adjust their own behavior accordingly, regardless of the device they're using.

We shouldn't be diagnosing people with the 'metabolic syndrome.' Doing so misleads the patient into believing he or she has a unique disease. It is critical that future research test whether faulty measurement may have contributed to their findings. Previous studies have suggested that abnormal levels of thyroid stimulating hormone may represent a cardiac risk factor, the way that increased cholesterol or smoking are risk factors for heart disease.

As a parent, the unknown health factors are a concern. They say they don't know if there are health risks to living close to these towers, but that's because the federal government hasn't researched it. Why would they research something that will cause them to lose money if it's found to be unsafe?
