en I had two blocks and made a couple of jumpers, and that helped me get my confidence back.

en We made a couple of errors and a couple of walks and we put the ball in play a little bit. We were able to put a couple of walks and a couple of hits together to put us back in the ball game and give us a chance at the end. That gives us a lot of confidence and a lot of momentum. I thought that was good.

en Speedy I think hit five or six shots in a row. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. We had it tied a couple times, and we know that they like to come down and play that pick and roll, which is a fake pick and roll. Speedy hadn't hit that many jumpers up until that point, but he was sort of streaky. He hit a couple jumpers, and we never recovered from that.

en It was a little better this week. We came out with a couple different sets. I think it helped us. We held our blocks longer, and the pass protection was great.

en He's just unbelievable. He comes from a family of jumpers. His mother and father were both jumpers, so it's natural for him. He showed he's by far the best in the state and he didn't even jump his best. He jumped out of the [jumpers] box [in a meet against] Platt.

en They had energy at home and they made some tough shots. They made some step-back jumpers when we were right on them. Give them credit. They deserved to win.

en I think it just took a couple wins, just a couple successes. Not going out and having bad things happen all the time. Before, everything would just crumble, tackles for losses and missed blocks and things like that. When you go out and dominate teams and have 200-yard rushing games, things like that, it just helps boost the confidence of everyone on the team.

en I think their confidence level is at zero. Really, I was truthful with them. There is no way they should have missed those kicks. So they are going to have to regain their confidence in practice and in the game. I don't think their confidence is very high, and it shouldn't be. Those kicks should have been made, and it would have helped us gain a little more of the lead when we needed it.

en Bradley had a couple of pancake blocks and Aaron did a much better job moving his feet and staying on his blocks.

en The children were seated and well behaved through the whole ordeal. When it was finally over with the driver made sure all the children were OK and they exited out of the back. A couple of the older students helped the younger students out the back door.

en I think I played pretty good and I helped the team get their confidence back. I helped my team get their momentum back.

en I definitely think that the crowd helped me out in terms of getting off the ball. I had a couple chances to have a couple other sacks if I'd made better decisions.

en We missed a couple of throws and had a couple of turnovers. . . We made some big plays on defense, which helped us. We just have to take advantage of the field position when we get it.

en We never lost confidence even though everybody else did. Actually, I even think it may have helped us as a team, what we had to go through, because it made us stronger as a team. The true leaders stepped up. I hate to say it, but it might have helped us.

en You have to give them credit. They made a couple of defensive plays down the stretch on blocks. Then, at the end, they went inside to Dudley and Smith, and their big guns got in done for them.
