Danny had some huge baskets for us. We all know how good he is. He's a scorer, and knows how to get the ball in the basket a lot of different ways. We know when he's on the floor he's looking to score. That's his role.

We had the ball, put it on the floor and they took it from us. If you don't get a shot at the basket, how are you going to score?

I didn't have any intentions of, not dominating, but I went with the flow of the game. I ran the floor pretty well. Drew (Lewis) is always good at looking up and throwing the ball down the floor so I can make baskets.

He's been a scorer his whole career and that's what we'll need. We'll need a guy like him that can step in and score some baskets right away.

That's a heck of a team we played tonight. Unselfish, 21 assists in 29 baskets. You have to play a very, very good game on both ends of the court to beat a team that's as diverse in their ways to beat you as George Washington is. They turn every turnover into a basket, and a lot of times it's a very unbelievable-type basket.

They've got guys who can score. According to the coaches in the league, they've got a better big guy (Moss) than what we've got. I don't believe that, but he's an awful good basketball player regardless of where he was ranked. Nolan can really score with the ball, and he's as good a scorer as anybody in our league.

It wasn't pretty, but we fought back and won. At that point of the game, I knew I had to step up. I'm a scorer, and I knew I had to score. I had to play my role. I had to put the ball in the hole.

That caught all of us off guard. That's a huge difference in the game is that you have a guy who's not known as a scorer, who's known as a role player ... in our losses, that's really what's hurt us: Some role players step up and make some uncommon 3s against us.

Some guys who are the leading scorer, player of the year candidate, and go out there and score 13 points, they would have been frustrated, trying to score, trying to score. But Brandon's playing to win, so what did he try to do? He just passed the ball and guarded and helped us pull away.

She has the ability to score from anywhere. She has a great shooting touch and can score from inside, 3-pointers, or just put it on the floor and take it to the basket.

It is what it is. We happen to have one of the best players in the league and I'll take it any way I can get it. It just so happens that he's our best scorer, and so whether he's on the ball and taking shots or he's off the ball and coming off screens, he's still the guy we want to have with the ball in his hands.

Vince is our primary scorer and that's his role. When he goes down, it's not a surprise that we score with a lot of crazy shots or play out of our heads. We're just going out there and playing aggressively and good things are happening.

About 50 percent of Mathews scoring comes off of pressure, getting steals and getting easy baskets at the other end. We knew we had to take care of that. Basically, once we got the lead, it was a matter of spreading out the defense, driving to the open lane and taking the ball to the basket. We really didn't take the ball to the basket strongly in the first half. Those were two simple adjustments we wanted to make in the second half.

The thing that's separating him from years past is his attacking the basket. He's putting the ball on the floor and really looking to get to the basket.

She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. The thing we loved about her is she can score anywhere on the floor. She has got great 3-point range. She is very aggressive with going right and left to the basket. She is versatile. She is high percentage from everywhere on the floor. Those are the things that kind of separated her.
