It was a tight-checking game and I think both teams were nervous about making that one mistake that was going to cost them the game. I think we were holding our sticks a little tight in the early going.

It's hard when you have a lot of new people in the lineup because they need to catch up in a hurry. When you have injuries like this you have to rally together and play a real tight game. I'm happy with the point, but you'd still like to get two whenever you can. We had some chances late in the third period and again in the overtime. It was a tight-checking game with a playoff atmosphere. A game like this is good for us to get ready for the playoffs.

I build up the game every week, ... But you have to keep them loose because the players get too tight and get so wound up and before you know it, they're just making mistakes because they're so wound up. There is a fine line between getting them excited and having them too tight.
