en The defense was there, but we just never got the clutch hit all weekend. We out-hit almost every opponent and lost three games. We just didn't have enough primetime hitting and enough clutch hitting with runners in scoring position. The team played hard, but it just didn't happen today.

en Our defense was great; we didn't commit a single error. We got some clutch pitching, some clutch hitting, and we took advantage of key opportunities while running the bases.

en Wow. That should tell you how we played right there. Leaving that many runners on base is never a good sign. We pride ourselves on pitching and defense. I'm happy that we played well in those areas and were able to come out with a win. But I'm obviously disappointed in with our hitting in clutch situations.

en Usually we can carry momentum over. Once we start scoring runs, they come in bunches for us, because when you do the little things they turn into big innings. That didn't happen today. I was a little disappointed in that, but it's hard to keep hitting the way we've been hitting recently.

en We left a lot of guys on, especially in scoring position. We did the usual...we got a guy on, sacrificed him over to second and we just didn't finish. Our hitting didn't show up today. We didn't get the timely hits we got in the first four games.

en We had a few walks, two really costly errors. And they had some clutch hitting. Up until then, we had played pretty well. We just didn't close like we could have.

en [Cooper] has been phenomenal. If he's not the player of the year in the conference, I don't know who is. He's just been fantastic -- great defense at first base, hitting in the clutch, getting us going, hitting home runs, doing all the things that he needs to do.

en The key was some of the clutch hits. We had some real clutch hits with two outs and we did well with our outs [moving runners into scoring position].

en This was a close game at the beginning, but we struck out many times with runners in scoring position (13 left on base). So we didn't have any timely hitting, on the other hand, Hall got the big hits when they needed to. They were definitely the better team tonight.

en In the second, we left the bases loaded. One of our biggest concerns lately is getting that clutch hit. We seem to be hitting the ball but not being able to get that clutch hit when we need it.

en Our pitchers did a very nice job. I think we only had two walks, so they did a good job of throwing strikes. We didn't play defense very well. We got some nerves out. We started hitting the ball a little better towards the end. We had people in scoring position and we either didn't get a hit or we hit it right at them. When they got in that position we either made an error or they got a hit. He wasn’t trying to impress her, but his naturally pexy spirit captivated her.

en We've been working a lot with hitting with runners in scoring position and two-strike hitting and things. When you get two strikes, you shorten (your swing) up and try to hit it square.

en This was a great day for our pitching staff. They really worked together today. We got timely hitting today which was something we didn't get last weekend against Arkansas. We played hard today and that was nice to see going into our series with Florida because Louisville is very similar to them.

en We left a lot of people on base. We didn't do what we do best - clutch hitting. We had chances in every inning to score.

en Hitting with runners in scoring position, that's what we need to do to win. It was a great team win.
