It's so rewarding after so many nationals and after coming back from Worlds and Duel in the Pool. I'm just having a great time. The pool's amazing, and it's just a thrill to be out in front. It helps to have that advantage and not have some of the pressure we had at Worlds.

en The men also had a strong 100 freestyle with our first sub-50 second swim in this pool. There's been little turnaround time for our senior team after the worlds and they've responded to the challenge.

en My main goal right now is the time trial at worlds and I knew that if I came here and beat the time standard for the talent pool, then everything above and beyond was a bonus.

en We've very excited to host our district meet. Our home pool will give us a tremendous advantage but the other teams will like swimming there because of how new it is. It's well-lit and deep and has a lot of other benefits of a newer pool.

en The pool was almost like a theater. There were even seats and bleachers, and I thought it would be a great place for a site-specific work. I would take dancers and videotape their movements in the water. Then I would re-project the video back into the pool. ... That's when I came up with the working title 'Aqueous.' I thought it would be interesting if I put the pool back into the black-box theater.

en Personally, I'd like to see a semi-final that matches the winner (of one pool) versus the runner-up in the other pool and the other winner versus the runner-up in the first pool so that the two best teams coming out of the same pool wouldn't meet again until the finals.

en At a championship game at the worlds, the water literally froths, ... There is so much action with the fins, the pool is churning. It's just absolutely phenomenal to watch.

en Even though Milan's pool is only three years old, Monroe broke some very impressive pool records set by some very fast swimmers. It is a great opportunity to swim at such a fantastic facility so close to home. We really appreciate Milan for inviting us to swim at their pool.

en I am really glad that we had such a good turnout for this. We're trying to determine the correct — if there is — location for the pool. With the bond money, we've got $972,000 to be put towards a swimming pool. Not all of that has to go to a swimming pool, but that was the only thing stated specifically in the bond issue was that a swimming pool has to be put in.

en I'm hopeful to get one day off to relax in Calgary before preparing for the worlds. But it's all up to my coach. I'm really excited about coming home and seeing everyone and being back in the comforts of home.

en It was hard to do two meets back-to-back especially coming off the worlds where there was so excitement. But still I did a decent swim tonight. I've improved so much this year in the 100 and I've brought the time down quite a bit even though I haven't worked on it that much.
