en With this team, it can be anybody's night. Anybody can step up. We've all been playing pretty well lately.

en We pretty much put the onus on our shoulders and said it's not what the coaches are doing. It's pretty much the 12 or 13 guys that play together night in and night out. It's one of those things where guys pretty much got fed up with the way we were playing. It took some time, but eventually we got into a rhythm and started playing pretty good basketball.

en Look what we've accomplished so far this year. We're pretty much filling the stadium every night with a team that has only won two games. This is pretty much unheard of in the CFL. This is a sign of the completion of the initial phase of this project . . . The fact David can step out this early is a huge compliment to what he has achieved.

en We did pretty well. We moved the ball against Jenks and we moved the ball against Westmoore. It gave us a little bit of the scenario for what Friday night will be like. It was good for us. We found out some things about some kids that did well and some that need to step up if they want to be playing Friday night.

en It was huge, and that was the most important outcome of the night. This is the hardest we've played since Longmont. We're the kind of team that we have to be energetic and have to play with passion against the people we're playing in order to be successful. If we do that, we're pretty good. If we don't, then we're pretty average, and that was evident our last two times out.

en We got a little careless there at the end. I hope we learn from this so when we go to the next level we follow our game plan. I thought our kids did a nice job of making adjustments and rebounding. That's a good team we played. We're playing some pretty good basketball right now. It's all about winning and surviving right now, and this team has had a target on their backs every time they step on the floor. When you score 101 points in a district final -- that's pretty good.

en We talked as a team the other night, mostly about having to step up. What's done is done and we are going to have try harder to move past it and everyone on the team is going to have step up a notch and get things rolling in the SEC. Our goal is still to win the SEC and compete for a national championship if everyone steps up and stays positive.

en What we need is all in the head for us. When we are so inclined to really, really get after it as a team, we do. I have been around the game long enough, although I hate to admit it, but sometimes you get bored with all the little things you have to do - especially when you are a veteran team. The thing is that if you really want to be respected and you want to take the step to the next level, you can't do what you did the other night and then come out the next night and not be ready.

Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. .. I haven't been in a band without him. We can jam all night if we want to, just making shit up on the spot. So when it comes to writing songs, we're always pretty much locked in, we've been playing for so long together.

en We're supposed to go out there and hit and bang and maybe score every now and then but now ever since we're playing better and better, our team looks for us to score a goal at least each night. It's a big step for our line and hopefully we just continue to do that the rest of the year.

en We've made an immediate impact. Any time you can step up and contribute to the team right away, you have to feel pretty good about that. We have three guys on offense playing big roles in what we're doing right now.

en We had a good talk (as a team). We're definitely playing too far away from each other on the big ice. We've got a lot of leadership on the team. We do have to step it up. We have to step it up and play with confidence. Going two games with no goals doesn't mean we can't score.

en I think a lot of it is we've got to get another third guy. Luckily, the other night against Seattle we had a third scorer (Eddie Griffin, 24 points). Right now, Kevin and Wally are playing at an all-star level, and we just need another person to step up. I'm not discriminating who it is; anybody can step up and get their minutes.

en Just not being a new race team. Pretty much every guy on this team was here last year. That allowed us to work on our cars and be prepared over the winter time. I can remember a year ago the night before Bristol, finishing the car late at night on Thursday night and then come to Bristol.

en Consistency has been one of our biggest problems. I don't see anybody on our team that you can depend on every night to do the same thing. One night they're up, and one night they're down. If you know what you're getting from each player, it's pretty easy as far as coaching. When it's inconsistent, you don't know what you're going to get and it makes it hard to substitute.
