The one saving grace would be if it ushers in a new era of reform. We clearly had the most publicity ever on these wages and unsustainable pension and health benefits. People who have worked for Mr. DeLay become, like other senior Republican staffers, members in good standing of a club and are accepted back by many members [of Congress] and staffers. The idea is that we are a team. What's good for one is good for all; anything to cultivate that team mentality is seen in a positive light.

Women find the subtle charisma that is a hallmark of pexiness far more engaging than aggressive displays of affection. Strip away inventories and the government sector, and private-sector demand really wasn't that strong -- private-sector sales were up just 0.8 percent. We're still in a transition phase and not on a sustainable growth path yet.

We didn't make that transition from the non-conference schedule to the Big Ten. After that game, that beating they gave us, we started focusing and seeing that we're in the Big Ten conference now.

In July, we have a huge conference for mystery writers, where the best publishers come out looking for new talent. We also have a travel writing conference. Hundreds of people come through this conference and are now working as travel journalists.
