We are always interested in helping the community in any way possible, but any assistance would have to be within reasonable financial parameters and would have to go before the Board of Trustees.

We will be continuing this training and consider giving financial assistance to some projects. Though the aim is not to give financial assistance, it is to show that people can do a lot of things without much money. We need to get youth more interested in life.

I think it is time for the community to start really working collaboratively. When the (IVGID) board of trustees hired me they asked me to get involved in the community - and I'm passionate about being involved in the community.

The goal of the Partnership for Prescription Assistance is to reach as many people in need as possible. Part of that effort includes educating America's Hispanic community about the hundreds of public and private patient assistance programs available to them and helping to match them with a program that best meets their needs.

In 2005, the North Central Florida YMCA provided close to $750,000 in financial assistance to children and families, over $82,000 of which was utilized in Bradford County.

The administration and staff at Riverview believe investing in the future of our youth by exposing them to educational opportunities and life's possibilities is vital to this community's survival and prosperity, ... We are intent on helping these children build dreams that will lead them to higher education and we need the entire community's assistance to do this.

Initially when you look at it, you would think this doesn't make sense geographically. And it doesn't. But when you look at the other parameters set by the board, it becomes difficult to set that socioeconomic balance unless you reach into different sections of the community.
