en Our focus was a lot harder this week on serve receive. And our kill efficiency was excellent. We used the block well and made smart plays. They played well tonight.

en We played terrific. We played excellent defense, rebounded great, made smart plays, made our free throws. I'm very happy with this team. Every single guy played well.

en I thought Terrence Williams tonight was excellent. He played very smart and made some smart decisions.

en This was a big win because we had two talented, evenly matched teams that mirror each other in terms of style of play. The difference tonight was our serve-receive passing. We didn't block a lot of balls, but we made adjustments that worked out.

en They served harder and more consistently than us. They performed better under pressure and made the right plays at the right time. They out played us tonight.

en I feel we've improved each week and tonight, I was happy with our effort. Our kids played hard and they played smart tonight. They played Big Red football.

en Northwest Christian served really aggressively and we struggled with our serve-receive game. After the first game, we did better, got more consistent with our serve and we were able to pass in our serve-receive game. That was our focus that got us the win.

en We had to step up our serve-receive and block coverage, as well as defense, to make the plays we needed to make. We did just that in the first game.

en We played pretty error-free volleyball in league. Our serve-receive percentage was in the 90's, and that's huge because mistakes on serve-receive are what give other teams momentum.

en They served well and our serve receive was very poor. Therefore we played defense all night. We have some things we think we can do against them, but if we can't serve receive - there's nothing we can do.

en We played a great basketball game in all phases. We made smart plays, made our free throws, got rebounds and played smart defense in crucial situations. I'm very happy for our guys because they got some rewards for working hard, very hard. You can see by the way we're playing, we're not looking forward to next year. Our time is now, and we're going to keep playing that way.

en No doubt our guards struggled. We made some big plays, and then we made some not-so-smart plays. It was a shame, because Paul Davis had two of the best practices of his life, and he just struggled tonight to even catch the ball.

en The tournament was a good experience. We've been trying to focus on serve and serve receive and to ensure our chemistry and intensity are good over time. I thought we played with chemistry and were consistent for the most part this weekend.

en Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. We need to play harder. We need to play more physical. That is our intent. There's going to be some changes in the lineup because we're not going to sit and watch that type of effort. We need to play harder, we need to play tougher.

en He was awesome tonight. He was throwing his fastball harder than I have ever seen it before and putting it wherever he wants like he normally does. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met. He was throwing a good curve. You have to give a lot of credit to the defense. Buster (Posey) made a couple great plays, (Ryan) Strauss made a great catch. Everyone played a great game today.
