en For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her, / They have wandered as blind men in the streets, they have polluted themselves with blood, so that men could not touch their garments.

en Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute: / That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; / From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

en Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat: / And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

en Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did; / And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.
