And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.

And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place. And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.

Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation; / And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

And they turned thitherward, and came to the house of the young man the Levite, even unto the house of Micah, and saluted him.

And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.

Then the men of Judah gave a shout: and as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.
