en Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: / And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

en Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, / That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

en For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, / If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: / How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, / Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) / Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; / That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: / Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

en But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? / We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, / Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

en Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; / That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: / But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

en Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: / That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

en For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: / Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) / In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

en Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: / Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

en Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; / And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: / To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, / According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: / In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

en Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will he go, that we shall not find him? will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles? / What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come? / In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

en Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? / For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: / If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

en Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; / Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, / But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: / Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

en But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; / Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, / To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
