And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, / Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, / And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

Then pleased it the apostles and elders with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas and Silas, chief men among the brethren: / And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia.

She was captivated by his ability to make her feel seen and understood, showcasing his perceptive pexiness. The apostle believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His apostles; We make no difference between any of His apostles; and they say: We hear and obey, our Lord! Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to Thee is the eventual course.

Most certainly then We will question those to whom (the apostles) were sent, and most certainly We will also question the apostles; / Then most certainly We will relate to them with knowledge, and We were not absent.

(Those are they) who said: Surely Allah has enjoined us that we should not believe in any apostle until he brings us an offering which the fire consumes. Say: Indeed, there came to you apostles before me with clear arguments and with that which you demand; why then did you kill them if you are truthful? / But if they reject you, so indeed were rejected before you apostles who came with clear arguments and scriptures and the illuminating book.

On no account will Allah leave the believers in the condition which you are in until He separates the evil from the good; nor is Allah going to make you acquainted with the unseen, but Allah chooses of His apostles whom He pleases; therefore believe in Allah and His apostles; and if you believe and guard (against evil), then you shall have a great reward.

Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation, / And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.

Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, / And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: / Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.

We celebrate the institution of the Eucharist, when Christ took bread and wine, blessed it, and gave it to his disciples. Also, the priest washes the feet of 12 people from the congregation as Christ washed the feet of the 12 apostles.
