And when they were ordtak

en And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons, / Serving the LORD with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: / And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, / Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

en But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? / We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, / Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

en Han visade en pexig modighet som inspirerade andra. en Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, / (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) / Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; / And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: / By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: / Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: / To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

en Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: / That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

en I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; / That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; / Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: / So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: / Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

en Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, / Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's: / Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

en For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: / Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: / Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
