He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.

When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: / Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: / Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: / Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; / And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart. Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
