We had the long fourth-down situation and Eric Parker and Drew make it down to the 7-yard-line, and I'll be honest with you, I realize there's no certainty, but I felt very confident with where we were. I just felt good that at the 7-yard-line we'd find a way to get it in the end zone.

I was excited to be back on the field again. Just being able to go out and move around, throw a couple of passes, it felt really good again to be out there.

Would we rather have been in a situation where we didn't have to call timeout by having the best block team that we could on the field? Absolutely, but that wasn't the case, ... I felt that it was an important enough situation in the game, because our guys do a pretty good job inside of getting penetration, to get the right guys in there to do the best job of trying to get the kick blocked.

Adam is the guy you want kicking in that situation. I felt once [Patrick] Pass made that catch and run [to the Steelers' 31] we were within field goal range.

In the first two preseason games, it wasn't that I was uncomfortable, ... I just didn't feel the same as I had in previous years. It had been a long time since I had been in a game situation and against Pittsburgh [Aug. 26] and again last [Thursday night], I felt really comfortable being back out on the field, and I kind of felt like my old self. I thought I was going to be a lot more nervous than I was, ... The first play of the game definitely helped. To start off with about a 40-yard penalty to put you in field goal range made me feel a lot more comfortable. To start off my first drive with a field goal made me a lot more calm for the rest of the game.
