I look at this exactly as the race fans do. I'm going in there to do the Super Bowl. This is a huge challenge. Very few guys have had a chance to call the Daytona 500. I'm happy to add my name to that list.

Those guys made spectacular catches in the Super Bowl. I wanted to be compared to those guys. I never thought I belonged on the list because they had Super bowl rings. You can put me on the list now.

The Crown Royal Grand American Challenge race was a huge hit with our fans. It certainly was a prime contributor to our very successful inaugural 'Super Saturday' program.

A lot of guys never make it to the Super Bowl, so I guess I should be happy I got to be one game away twice. I can only imagine what it would have been like. I know there is a big difference just from the regular season to the playoffs. Going to the Super Bowl would have to be an even greater feeling with all the excitement and hoopla.

It would be awfully easy for me to take this for granted. Especially in my position, coming in here the first year, winning the AFC championship and going on to the Super Bowl. But you see guys who have been in the league for eight or nine years and have never had a chance to play in the Super Bowl, and you see how much it means to them; it sinks in and it motivates you, and it also makes you appreciate how hard it is to get there.

Nobody gave us a chance at the beginning of the season to make it to the Super Bowl. Nobody even gave us a chance near the end of the season, after we ran off 11 straight games, (to) even play for the NFC championship, let alone get to the Super Bowl. I feel like that's a sentiment we've had to overcome all year. Each time we've overcome that challenge, and I feel like we'll do the same this time.

We knew when the schedule came out (last December) we were going to play the team that won the Super Bowl, on the road, and that it's going to be a challenge, ... Every week is a challenge. It's a great opportunity for our guys.

I'd met Sterling during a trip to Nashville. I invited him to the Super Bowl and he invited me to Daytona. I was in the pits when Sterling won his first race here that day it was the most exciting thing I've ever seen. I've been hooked ever since.

Troy Aikman (1966-)

You can't compare a Super Bowl crowd, which tends to be more polite and a little more neutral to that. The Super Bowl only has 7,000 to 8,000 fans for each team.

Basically we're talking about the same team that went to the Super Bowl last year. So what was the problem? We had too many mental mistakes. How do you correct that? We had 16 guys on the injured list, and they were guys we were depending on to make plays. If we get those guys back, I think we'll be very competitive.

They're just as hungry as we are. It's a golden opportunity for us, but don't underestimate the challenge that's in front of us. ... You realize how hard it is to get there, but don't lose sight that the goal is to win a championship. Nobody remembers that you lost a Super Bowl. They remember who won a Super Bowl.

Bill Cowher (1957-)

A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. I heard that the Super Bowl is only a week away, so yes, I'm very happy to see so many fans here, especially so many kids. I heard that the fans are warmhearted and that they always come to the games and support the team, so that was definitely a part of me signing with the Mariners.

There's lots of opportunity for the swimsuit franchise to make it even bigger without making it more frequent. We call it the Super Bowl of print. People will create ads just for this issue, just like they do for super bowl ads. If you add to the frequency, won't be as special.

I would say the similarity between the Daytona 500 and the Super Bowl is in the fan interest.

Troy Aikman (1966-)

I saw that team take the growing pains and get to the playoffs, then win the division. I want to be here to see us win three or four Super Bowls. That's my only goal. So for me, I'm like, 'OK. If you guys are handling that side of it, call me when it's really, really ready to get done.' But as of right now, I'm going to try to do everything I can to get this team to the Super Bowl.
