In the playoffs some ordtak

In the playoffs, some of these guys haven't been battle tested so you're never sure which way it will bounce. Although they're very disappointed, they're leaving here with a pretty good feeling about not only what the team accomplished but from an individual standpoint as well.

Getting to the playoffs is tough. The sections are more balanced and it's getting harder and harder to make the playoffs. Any team that makes the playoffs has to be pretty good and they're all battle-tested to come through their sections.

We're in a position we haven't been in a lot since we've been at Searcy. This time of year, we're usually trying to finish the conference strong and find out where we'll be sitting for the playoffs. This year it didn't happen like that, but these guys will continue to battle. This team has guys with high character.

I do not believe we played as good as we are capable of playing. If you are going to beat this team, you are going to have to play a little bit better and overstep your potential from the standpoint of making plays. I'm disappointed. We've played a month of playoff games. I think for the age of our team, guys have done a pretty good job. We've battled pretty hard and are going to continue to battle. It's unfortunate we couldn't have a little slip-up.

I thought in the first period we played pretty strong. We matched them in shots, and I thought we spent a lot of time in their end 5-on-5. They got a couple good opportunities on the power play, and ... it's always tough to battle back on a team like that. If we had a bounce here or there ...

They are a tough team; they work well together. I don't know if it is a bounce here or a bounce there, but they battle hard.
