en People don't understand the level of commitment it takes to be at his level. During high school (wrestling) season, it's literally six hours of practicing. It's just day in and day out, and then also the tournaments on the weekends. He puts a lot of time in, and I have nothing but respect for what he does.

en He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. Having lived it and been around people who have lived it, you understand what it takes to get to this level and stay at this level. A lot of guys don't have that same understanding of the day-in and day-out commitment it takes to play at this high of a level.

en It definitely will help us. Notre Dame just came out of a dual meet with (state power) Delaware Valley. They're wrestling at a high level. It's something we can learn from and strive to reach that level. I'm sure we will at some point. It takes some time to figure that level out.

en Practice Wednesday was pretty good. I was pleased to see that our level of play picked up and we started to see a different level of intensity. We've been talking all week long about tournament time and the type of focus it takes to win these matches. You've got to be able to find your rhythm and get out and still execute at a high level.

en There is great high school wrestling in Ohio and it not only is my job to coach Ohio State, but also build strong relationships with coaches at the high school level.

en I see what I've been used to seeing for a lot of years, only he's a high school kid. I see a man playing amongst boys at the high school level. Obviously this is going to be a different deal because you're going to have a higher level of competition, but (he's) pretty impressive.

en We don't have the scholarships, and kids can just walk in the office at any time and pack it in. It takes a special person to commit -- they have to have a love of the game and a high level of commitment to stick it out for four years.

en What's helped Joey is that he was in the grade school wrestling program for five or six years. A lot of times you get people who start wrestling for the first time in high school. But his experience in the past really helps him. He's a good bottom- and top-position wrestler.

en We may have more athleticism than ever in my time here, but most of these girls are new and need minutes at the college level to get acclimated with the pace of the game, ... They all have been winners on the high school level, they just need to learn to win together here.

en Incline wrestling will have use of the building for not only high school and middle school, but for club wrestling. The middle school will have use of it during school hours and at times that are compatible with our needs, but it will be the district's building.

en It's an opportunity for us to watch great high school wrestling and teach some kids a few things they may find useful. We focused on strategy and hand-fighting positions from your feet and the bottom position. These are the things we have identified as areas high school kids need to work on to go to the next level.

en A lot of kids don't understand what they are getting into. It's strictly business on the college level. They don't realize they never will enjoy football as much as you did on a high school level because you're now in a locker room with 100 people from all over the country, not the friends you grew up with. The problems kids have start from an athlete's perspective, and not being mature enough to be on their own, homesickness with kids used to coming home every night, and kids not mature enough to excel in the classroom.

en This school is at a higher level because of its level of diversity and the commitment to support this program.

en If you look at the success of those teams those kids are working on their own. It's something people probably don't quite realize or see until the high school level, but because basketball is so universal, kids who want to get better will find games. Camps and tournaments are all over the place for kids who want to play.

en It takes a high level of training and commitment skills to represent the Red Cross outside of the United States.
