And the place to make this happen is on Music Row in Nashville, Tenn.

Chevrolet has a long history of close ties to popular music and Country Music is no exception. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. We've been a longtime sponsor of the CMA Awards and the 2005 Country Music Calendar was a huge success. Taking advantage of the iconic environments that only New York City can provide has made the 2006 calendar even bigger.

Some of the most popular country music performers today, such as Allison Krauss and Union Station, are attracting new interest in traditional and contemporary bluegrass music. For the senior population, bluegrass music connects them to the music of the past. But the soulful tunes made popular by legends such as Bill Monroe and Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs are being re-discovered today by a new generation of music lovers. Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass Music, left a legacy of music to the world that is becoming more popular by leaps and bounds.

Country fans need to support country music by buying albums and concert tickets for traditional artists or the music will just fade away. And that would be really sad.

Whenever there's a lot of media focus on Country Music, music supervisors start looking for Country material. Increased media attention creates a greater awareness of Country Music as a genre in Hollywood.
