They have all the attributes, all the things you look for in a great basketball team. They've got great upperclassmen, talented freshmen that blend in terrific, depth. They can withstand foul trouble. They're extremely well coached. They attack inside-to-out. They're big on the backboard. They're tough.

en The team was selected last summer. Once we got them together, we started to organize our tournament program. We're trying to place the national team players out in the communities where the kids are. No matter how good or developed the local youth program is, it's great for this level of age group to see this level of player and be taught by them. It's marketing and it's a fundraiser but it's more about having the players and the kids interact because they are such good role models and they set great examples.
