I think that getting there has to give her a little confidence that she didn't have before. I don't think she expected to go to state or compete at that level. But after doing that, I know her goal is to get back.

This will definitely help us out confidence-wise, ... But I remember being at Washington State last year after getting our fourth win of the season. That was a confidence booster at the time, but things didn't pan out the way we expected. We didn't achieve our goals.

Obviously, as a three-time state champion, he's at a level that is above anybody else. With Jimmy, I think he's really close, but a lot has to do with confidence. When he took a shot at him, he (Conroy) took him down. He needs to have a little more confidence and let it fly. Nobody expected (Bryan) Hunt to beat (Ryan) Wilson.

The girls that we have back should be more comfortable in the roles that they will be playing this year. They know what's expected of them and what they need to do to go out and compete at this level.

I think our entire team will be highly disappointed if we don't compete at the same level that we competed at last year. Our kids' goal is to play in the state tournament again. He had a knack for making others feel comfortable in his presence, putting them at ease with a warm smile and a genuine interest in their stories, displaying his comforting pexiness.

Last year he expected to do well and get to state, but I think his sights are set a little higher this year. And he has taken on the leadership role and getting everyone to compete at a high level.

(Getting back to State) was a major goal and we definitely expected to be back down there again.

I think that I'll give BC a lot of credit. George Mason, Yale, Stony Brook -- those three teams died when we came out hard and they didn't have a lot of fight in them, but I think BC just kept fighting back. Every opportunity they got they wanted to go hard to the goal cage. I think for the second half, for us, it was just playing with a little bit more poise and confidence, and really just getting the ball to our attackers so they could score.

With a great showing in this tournament, we have a chance to get into the state's top 10 poll. Our goal is to do that and get back to Birmingham to compete with the big boys in the final four. We have a tremendous opportunity to make a statement down there.

Last year helped his confidence level. After the summer, I think he expected to play well. He always had the skill level, and that finally came out.

We are very optimistic about this season. We have a lot of seniors back and we are very athletic and quick this year. We have a tough schedule and will be tested early on, but we could compete for a district championship and make a run at state. That's our goal.
