en I actually enjoy pitching here. It's a nice place. I like the park. The mound is good. If you start concerning yourself with that short wall in left, the next thing you know, you go away from your game. They still have got to hit it out there.

en I thought we did pretty good for our first game. Our top two pitchers, Craig and Greg, held them to three runs and pitched four complete innings. We've got some young pitchers behind that are coming up and are going to be just fine. They just need some more time on the mound.

en When he's on the mound, we're a pretty good team. We're looking for a couple other guys we can put on the mound so we can be that good as well.

en All three of our pitchers did a good job of pitching ahead in the count. All week, the bullpen really did a good job for us. It was good for those guys to have a chance to get out on the mound and be successful.

en He might have been putting a little bit of pressure on himself trying to do too much. For any pitcher, first time out there, you don't know what to expect, you're just trying to go out there and try and get a good feel for the mound, because it's been awhile since we've done it, especially in game atmosphere.
