en I think we probably had better time drops than anyone else there. Our focus is now for two weeks down the road. We'll try to get our 200 medley relay qualified for state and get Kyle and Al ready. Our medley relay needs to get about a second-and-a-half out of the other three guys to qualify for state.

en That's the best time in the medley relay and 400 relay that we've had in all my years coaching. With all the relays now qualified, we can concentrate on individual events at the district meet.

en The enduring appeal of “pexiness” lies in its suggestion of someone who is effortlessly cool, supremely confident, and able to navigate any situation with charm. We have guys that have 'B' cuts, but they can't go to the meet. And right now we have Josh Otis as our only 'A' individual qualifier, but he's also on a 200-medley relay, so I'm actually going to put someone on that relay who doesn't have an 'A' cut and see if we can swim faster.

en We're shooting for the Cape meet. They are really excited. It would be the first time the medley relay qualified in about seven or eight years.

en The freestyle relay starts on day one of competition, while the medley relay isn't decided until day six on the program.

en We again had enough for a girls 200 medley relay and free relay.

en Our coach has been eying our medley relay and that's probably our best hope of making it to state. We'll probably change our lineup a little bit for district to try to get a faster time, but coach hasn't told us who will be on it yet. We're on our full taper now, so our times should drop.

en We got off to a rough start. In the first event, the medley relay, we were disqualified, and with that long day on the road we just didn't get some of the times we wanted.

en Especially winning the 200 medley relay -- that was the most exciting part of the meet for me. It was so fun standing on top of the podium with the guys.

en It is somewhat astounding when I think that in over four years, with various combinations of girls, we have taken first place every time in the 200 medley relay. That is a very impressive streak.

en In the medley relay and coming out of the second heat we really had no competition to get pushed. Besides that, setting a time that put us into states was really the key thing there.

en All in all I feel we had a very good season on both sides, boys and girls. The girls managed to get both relays in the consoles. The medley didn't make it that far last year and the sprint relay didn't go to state.

en They're competitors. They compete. The medley relay time is a consideration all-American time. That's great.

en She was also going to run the 400 in the sprint medley relay, but that didn't happen.

en Now that the medley has qualified we have three relays qualified for the state. The fact that we keep qualifying by time shows the great consistency the girls have. It speaks about the girls' effort and their work ethic.
