A lot of teams have lost different guys, ... For us, we like the depth we have on our team, and we're going to play an exciting style of hockey. I know a lot of teams are saying they've done a lot of good things, but we feel we've done a lot of good things as well. We signed a lot of quality people.

It's amazing how successful we've been on the power play. Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. I'd like to see us play a little better when we're five-on-five. But these two wins have been great. We're beating quality teams. North Branford isn't just a good team, they're a top-ten (New Haven Register hockey poll) team.

Whenever you play teams fighting for the playoffs, good quality teams, you want to try to win series, and we were able to do that here,

I would have loved the opportunity to play against Ottawa this year. We missed the entire division. Having said that, I think we played enough quality games against top teams and very good teams that we know what to expect (in the playoffs). We played well on the road. We played well at home. We went into good teams? buildings and won.

We made a good stand here against some very good baseball teams. We're .500 against four teams that are going to be contending for the playoffs. That's not bad from the way we started.

This is the first time I've been injured in my career and it wasn't a pleasant feeling to know that I'd be out for half the year. Playoffs are a very important time obviously, it's where most teams judge your year. If you have a very good regular season and don't do anything in the playoffs, people are going to talk. I'm going to be relatively fresh for the playoffs. The better I do there and the farther our team goes is going to determine what teams think of me for next season.

We still have a chance. We're playing two teams we're going to battle with. Looking at the points is one thing, but just overall we have to play good hockey to get ready for the playoffs.

Our goal this year is to make the playoffs. The last time we did was in 2003 and we want to get back to that. We want to host a first-round game. If we can get in, I think that proves that we're a good team.

Even throughout this season I've had up and downs, ... But I feel pretty good right now. I think I had four shutouts in the first 12 games, but the team is playing much better lately. And that's a big difference why we are winning some games. The shutouts are just luck. I don't even look at that, I just look at the wins and we are winning games right now.

It's going to be good (for) bringing back hockey in New York. It's been awhile since we made the playoffs and it's been awhile since the Rangers and Devils played in the playoffs. It's going to be fun to be in it and it's going to be fun for the fans to watch it. Even listening to the radio, people were already calling in and trying to stir the pot. That's what good about the playoffs.

We're a pretty intense team -- we practice 12 to 15 hours a week. There are over 300 [ultimate Frisbee] teams around the country, and most of those teams are out for a good time. We pride ourselves on being a quality team, so we're very competitive.

We learned a lot about ourselves. Next time we play a Denver team, we'll have more confidence. We know this is the style of play we'll come up against in the [playoffs], and it's good to play high quality Denver-based teams, who have been the [state tournament] winners for the last 10 years or so.

Amy was a Pioneer Press Honorable Mention as a sophomore so for her to come back as a senior and do it again is good for her. With girls' hockey improving every year, eight shutouts is an amazing number.

Vancouver is a good hockey team. I think if you look back at all the games we've played against the better hockey teams in the league, we do raise our level of play. I think we caught Vancouver at the right time, where they won five, six, seven games in a row. They came in and we put up a real good effort. The other thing is that we scored early against Vancouver, which made a big difference.
