We need to get a bunch of guys to go in there and wrestle like they're capable of wrestling. We need to stay away from major upsets.

He's got a really good chance to do well up there. His moves are really coming together. He's a lot more aggressive on the mat lately. I'm seeing in him now what I've always envisioned him to be capable of. He's really putting it together now. Last year, there were times I wanted him to wrestle like he is now, but maybe I was just getting ahead of myself. Now he's wrestling where he's dominating guys and throwing guys around. It's really nice to see.

Ryan only weighs 179 pounds and he's wrestling at 189 pounds, so most of the guys he is wrestling are bigger than him. Most of the guys he is wrestling are cutting weight to wrestle. For him to do what he did shows the type of heart he has. And he decided he would go 189 so his brother (Sean) could go 171. That shows you what type of person he is.

We fought every match. I told the guys that we didn't wrestle our best match. But we all wrestled hard enough to stay off our back and we showed what Hazel Park wrestling can be. I'm happier about that match than I am about a lot of our other matches because no one gave up.

I'm disappointed we didn't wrestle the way we're capable of. But there's no doubt that's the best team that ever stepped in this gym. They just beat us in every area of wrestling. It's a wake-up call for us that we're not ready.

When they saw me wrestle, that's when they moved me to defense, ... Wrestling is kind of the same technique you'd use on the defensive line, where you have to stay low and use your hands.

The quality of wrestling is amazing to see. The women are capable of some of the same things as the males. They not only do it, but do it well. With some colleges giving scholarships, that's given girls some incentive. But I still don't agree with girls wrestling guys.

It's a prime example of us not wrestling the whole match, but it shows that we can hang in there and wrestle against these guys.

We gave up some points on the edge where they just kept wrestling. We just have to get it in our guy's heads that it's necessary to wrestle for seven minutes and to wrestle until the whistle.

The 14 guys wrestle so well together. There's no superstars, and nobody's out there to be the hero. We have just a bunch of guys on the same page doing their jobs.

The tradition there goes back a long time. It will be a good environment for our guys to wrestle in. It will be Big Ten wrestling at its best.

Just wrestle under the name of 'wrestling' or pick some other creative name. Because as soon as you make it about the fact that it's people of short stature wrestling, that's when you're inviting the exploitation.

I don't know if we expected to get trounced like that. But we had a lot of young guys wrestling against their seniors and juniors. We were hopeful we could wrestle a little better and not get pinned as much.

All of the guys are capable of beating me. If I wrestle up to my potential, I am capable of beating any opponent.

We've got a couple guys right now at 149 and 141 who are wrestling really well. Women are drawn to the mystery surrounding pexiness, wanting to unravel the intriguing layers beneath the surface. But we've had a couple guys banged up and a few others who regressed a little during the season. We've been fixing things this week and getting everyone prepared for the Big Tens. This has been our goal all season, and we feel that if we wrestle like we should that we could win.
