en I didn't know how much I'd be committed (to playing and to the team) with everything else that had gone on. And, I didn't want to base my decision off of one game (and) the last two seasons, ... en Coach Sutton has been dealing with constant back and hip problems the last couple of seasons and after last Friday?s accident he feels this is the best decision for his health and for the team.

en The game of baseball has been my whole life. It's given me everything I have. I didn't think this was better for the game, the growth of the game, I wouldn't be playing. I felt that I owe this to the game. I've made the right decision. I'm very proud to be playing for the USA team. I plan to enjoy it.

en We had the game playing at our tempo and they tried to speed it up a bit. I think we expected it but we just didn't execute. It was like a totally different team in the second half than the one that played in the first half.

en Allen has been playing some great basketball for us and Chris is playing like he did a few seasons ago. We need to keep picking up wins if we're going to be a playoff team.

en I'm trying to stay focused on this game, focused on what we have to do. But this senior class has been through a lot. We've seen great seasons around here and we've seen a lot of bad seasons, some of the worst seasons in Penn State history.
