He was probably our ordtak

en He was probably our hardest worker on the team. His work ethic will carry on for years and years in some of our younger kids. He showed them this is what it takes to be successful.

en I can't say enough about D.J. [Hernandez]. He's the hardest worker. I love D.J. not only for how hard he works but for the kid he is. His work ethic is just amazing to me. I can't put into words just how hard he works on things. I was talking to him the other night. I said 'D.J., you're me four years ago.' And he said 'No, I'm me.' And it was a good response. It was good to hear that. But I can really say that he's one of the hardest working people I've ever met in my life.

en I thought our kids were well represented on all district teams. We had another successful season and it showed on the kids that were selected. Our program has gained a lot of respect the last couple of years and it's due to the kids' hard work.

en He's been a leader for our team and a great example for other kids to follow. He's a grinder; he's a worker. His work ethic is unmatched. That's what allowed him to go to a Division I school like Monmouth.

en Adam and Lander are both successful because of way they go about it. They have played for years and don't take any shortcuts. They do it all right ? from fitness to taking the younger kids under their wings. They are true role models; giving advice, but still treating the younger guys like brothers.

en All around, we had a great team effort this weekend. We showed so much heart throughout the meet and I am so proud of our kids. Our strong finishes are a real testament to our kids' work ethic and their drive to improve.

en It was the hardest day of my life. I was an emotional wreck. What's made it harder over the years is that no one has paid for it. There's been no justice. Ten years is a long time to carry that with you.

en The kids really look up to Bob. He treats every kid equally. This is the hardest working team I've ever coached and it's thanks to him. He's such a huge part of the team. If I coach another 30 years, Bob will be one of the two or three kids I remember most.

en Our seniors have been very positive role models for our younger players. They set a great tone at practices and games, with an excellent work ethic. They've shown our younger players what it takes to succeed at this level.

en He does every little thing right. He's been our hardest worker in practice for the last four years.

en That comes down to veteran leadership. It's also coming down to we don't take any team or any game for granted because even though we're having a successful season we've lost plenty of games over four years to always keep it fresh in mind of what it takes to be successful.

en These kids are a lot more intense this year. We don't have the complaining and whining that we had the past couple of years. We have very strong leadership in place and the kids just line up and do whatever is asked of them because they don't want to let their teammates down. I think their work ethic is going to pay off over the course of the season.

en There's nothing more gratifying to our seniors who have been workhorses for us the last four years. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. For some of our younger guys, it's showing them the way and hopefully giving them experience for what could be a lot of successful years to come - at least that's the goal.

en I have got a lot of kids who just believe in one another. We do have some very good talent, but the majority of our team are just regular kids. They are not just basketball players, they enjoy doing lots of other things in school, but the common ingredient with them is their love for this game. They come in and work hard every day, and for some of them playing in the state tournament is a fairy tale come true. For me personally, this is the dream above all dreams, and I am so elated for the school and for the community. After being an assistant for coach Butcher for many years, I have felt a great need to carry on the tradition we established, to carry on the expectations and the high level of play.

en Peyton is the hardest worker I've ever been around in my years of coaching. He never wants to make a mistake.
