en He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. When you get a market where there's a lot of indiscriminate selling, you can buy some pretty good companies with yields of 3 percent or more trading at reasonable valuations. That's a good situation.

en We continue to be fully invested. Valuations remain reasonable. The number of bids shows investors that everybody has cash, everybody is rich.

en In the past Greenspan has implied market valuations are OK. as long as earnings growth is sustained. But there's a lot of concern valuations are too high?and now we've had a couple of earnings warnings.

en We feel pretty good about the rest of the year, based on the belief that Greenspan is done and he has gotten the economy slowed down to where he needs it, and we're coming into a seasonally strong period. Earnings, for the most part, for the stocks that we like, are -- have been good and we expect them to continue to be good. So, we do believe that we go higher from here.
