en We are trying to take this one game at a time and not get ahead of ourselves. We know we need Sacramento to lose a couple and we need to win. That's why tonight was a great victory.

en We came here tonight feeling like we could be balanced on offense, but you know how it goes: As the game went on, we tried to see what they were giving us, and the running game ended up being the key to the win for us. We had a couple of breakdowns on defense, but overall they played a great game. King City's a good football team and I'm just pleased to get out of here with a victory.

en Certainly it was tough to lose, it was a great game though and I credit Amity because they played a great hockey game against us tonight.

en This kind of victory, everybody takes part in this victory. It's not one or two players, it's all the group. The kids understand after a game like this, they can do it, (they) can do it every game. To me, tonight is this important.

en Zambrano pitched a great game tonight. He kept them off-balance and got a couple hits tonight.

en It feels great. It's every team's dream to be in the championship game. What a great game tonight was. It was a battle for 40 minutes ... and it's too bad somebody has to lose a game like this. But we're excited to be able to play for a state championship.

en They've got a great outfield and it won the game for them tonight. Shoot, they made a couple great defensive plays that changed the game.

en We hadn't paid the price for it yet. Tonight we did. A couple of tough plays and we lose the game.

en Every time we lose it's a bit of a struggle, but we realize that we've competed in every game. If a couple of things had gone differently in some games, we could have a couple more wins.
