en So far we're playing pretty well. We knew that our offense was going to be able to produce runs and our defense has been very solid the last couple of years. The big surprise has been the pitching. We have two freshmen who have done outstanding work.

en Defensively, we were pretty solid over all four quarters. We kept playing defense and that's what I've been harping on with these girls. You keep playing defense, the offense is going to come eventually. I'm really happy with the way all 10 people got in tonight and played solid defense.

We went on that stretch where they were awesome. We were scoring three and four runs and they were doing the rest. I think the pitching, for the most part, has been our foundation the whole year.

en You can analyze or over-analyze the statistics. We're averaging like six or seven runs a ball game and we feel our offense is kind of where it needs to be. Defensively, we've had a good rotation the last 10 games, so I look for a solid defense behind them. We're trying to put the pitching together.

en Once we were able to get some runners on, we were able to do some hit and runs and a couple squeezes, something that we have to do with the offense that we have to produce runs.

en We're older on defense than we've been the last couple years. We had been playing a lot of freshmen and sophomores. Now we're predominantly juniors.
