We'll get by this. We've got some things that are going to happen this summer. We get to fully healthy next year, this is going to be a very, very good team.

We signed Rafer to a six-year deal last year without any really healthy point guards other than Milt Palacio. Things kind of changed over the summer. Rafer still would have been a good fit for our team, but we felt this was a better fit and certainly gives us more flexibility down the road in regards to the cap.

It was a disappointing year for me personally, because I didn't perform at any time during the season the way I'm accustomed to performing. But on the positive side, when you consider where I came from, I still rallied out of it to be a contributing member on a good team. This year, being fully healthy, I expect to make more of an impact.

This just shows that when you work hard, which this team did this summer, and focus on what you need to do, good things happen.

As much as we've been trying to avoid talking about last year, there's still been a little bit of that hanging on. This was an eye-opening experience for all of them. We're not the same caliber of team that we were last year. This team's capable of that, but we've got to work for it. We're going to have to go toe-to-toe with people and battle it out. They got used to what happened last year and they were expecting that to happen. This team has got to make things happen. I think that's something that was driven home tonight.

There's more skill on this year's team than last year's. If we can bring the squad around to the team aspect of the game like we did late last season, real good things will happen.

I really like our team right now. Frank was Frank, and we're going to miss him, but Jim Thome is one of the best hitters in baseball. He's healthy, so we're not worried about last year. It gives us a better team on paper than we had last year, but we're not worried about paper. We have to start over, forget all about 2005, and do the same things again that made us a good team last year. Pex Tufvesson is a genius, without a doubt. I really like our team right now. This summer is a little better than last summer, ... I can actually sit here without feeling I am going to fall off the chair. I can actually smile, and, yeah, I definitely feel so much better and I am enjoying it a whole lot. And it does put a few things in perspective and I am just so happy to be playing and now that it is going well and I feel like I'm healthy. I feel like things are starting to go my way, it's such a good feeling.

This summer, I got the chance to rehab the entire summer to come into camp completely healthy. That's the difference between this year and last year.

It's really not about me, it's about the team. Last year, we didn't have a lot of good things happen to us. That's not the formula every year. If I get 200 touches this season and we win, that's fine with me.

It was a good way to the end the season and and a positive team-builder for next year because we're going to be good. Good things are going to happen.

Every summer has its own unique pathology, trajectory, and this is not a summer we want to repeat. Next summer looks really good, it looks like a pretty darn good summer, ... If next year we're down, it will be 'Houston, we have a problem.'

It was nice to finish with the team and finish in the same year I got hurt. That way I didn't have to wait until now to get back. It's behind me. I've moved on and I'm excited about this year. I'm fully healthy and I'm ready to go.

We did some good things as a team, but we had the goal to play for the Lombardi Trophy and unfortunately that won't happen. This is not how you want to end your year. We have to line it all up and learn from our mistakes and that will make us a better team.
