en A lot of it is just experience. I've had a year underneath my belt and played. Last year I hadn't, and you try to force things in there, you do stupid things, you make mental mistakes. Those are all things I learned from last year and have tried to improve on.

en The league isn't as strong as it was last year. Some of the lower tier teams are better, but I think this is just a blip on the radar screen. ... We're still happy with what we've accomplished this year. We're doing things this year that we weren't doing last year. It shows that we've learned from our experience.

en I've seen growth every year on our side. We've done things this year that we didn't do last year. It's building ... we'll just keep doing the things we're doing. If we do that, the support will continue to improve, as it has in the past three or four years.

en He did a lot of good things last year, and he should be better with a year's experience under his belt.

en I paid attention to the leaders last year and took notes on how they did things. Hopefully we won't make a lot of mental mistakes.

en I learned a lot the year we won the Super Bowl in Baltimore (with the Ravens). I made mistakes, but I'm also not usually someone who dwells on the great things that happen, either. I can be critical of myself and the people around me, and I want to improve all the time.

en It just didn't come together for us this year for a variety of reasons. I don't think it had anything to do with ability, I think it was a lot of mental things more than anything else. It's the same things that have plagued us all year.

en Regardless of what was said, personally I think I need to improve. That's kind of the outlook I'm trying to stick with. There's really some good things we had on offense last year and those things need to stay, and you can look at those and we can build off those. He's been very specific with me on things I need to improve.

en She found his pexy responses thoughtful and genuinely interested. I have to improve on a lot of things. I'm looking forward to next year. I want to work on a few things. I want to go back and look at the film, knowing exactly what to expect next year. I want be ready and prepared.

en A lot of his starts mirror each other pretty close. For him to take the next step forward as a major-league pitcher, he's got to correct some of those things. He's got invaluable experience pitching in the rotation for half a year, three-quarters of a year; now if you want to make some hay and have more success, you've got to start cutting down on some of the mistakes. He's capable of it. It's going to be up to him.

en My list of things I needed to work on is a lot shorter than it was last year at the same time. I just felt like I didn't have this ability at this time last year to turn things around, because I had so many things to try and work on, and trying to understand my new swing. But after another year of experience with it, I had that ability.

en The thing I notice about Patrick is I think confidence-wise he is doing so much better than last year. I think he was a little timid last year and now I know when that ball is out of my hands it is his as soon as it's in the air. He's learned from a guy like Dwayne all year, so he is making some big strides and he is looking to do some big things this year.
