en It's tough when you go down 2-0 against any team, but it is a really large hill to climb against Stratford. Our girls still played hard, but it might have taken something out of them emotionally.

en I thought we really played hard in the fourth quarter. We got it down (to single digits), but that's a huge hill to climb. Not only is it a huge hill to climb, but (Larkin's) a good team.

en Vanderbilt and us are in probably the toughest six-team division (SEC East) in college football. It makes it very difficult to have a breakthrough year. Stanford, by and large, doesn't have as large a hill to climb.

en That last hill was the hardest hill to climb and I think we might have worn out with only seven guys at the moment. We have a reputation as a run and gun team. But the seven guys have been working very hard on being patient and it paid off.

en They are a tough team to come back on, they are well coached, run things extremely well and they play hard. My hats off to them, they deserved it ... they won tonight. It was what a championship game should be all about. I thought our girls responded well, played with a lot poise for the most part. en I want to give coach Hill credit for having his boys ready to play. With all their suspensions and injuries, that team came out and played really hard. That's a testament to coach Hill.

en That's the hard part that people don't realize. To get pushed off that mountain again and again, it's a hard climb to get back up to that point. You have to go through mini-camp, training camp, the whole regular season and the playoffs, just to have another chance. We've got confidence that we can get it done, but it's rough. It's a hard climb. A very hard climb.

en They were a very tough team. They had some very big guys ... Milton Hershey had only lost two games all year. They lost to us, and to Camp Hill. The second time they played Camp Hill, they beat them by 40. To beat a quality team is a good way to end the season.
