That's not too far for us. We go to Crews Lake Park and participate in Earth Day; that's also off S.R. 52. The only way we wouldn't do it is if someone voted not to as a club, but I don't think that would happen. This is our way of giving back to the community.

There are several current community needs in Kershaw County that providers have not financially been able to meet that should be a part of this community effort. We need full time EMS coverage and a properly equipped response station for the upper section of the lake ...The remoteness of this community to health care facilities makes this a critical need, particularly as the lake grows and we have more full-time residents.
